Having watched Top Gear all my life, my I say you are doing a fantastic job. but just sometimes you 2 need to spice it up to engage the audience or add someone silly or conservative (that can be a mechanic or camera person of your team). to keep the audience on their toe.

Hahaha god this is a brilliant watch. But I have owned both the X7 and the GLS, both pre-facelift, mind. And hands down the X7 interior is by far a better product. God, have they still got those awful Dacia style plastic buttons around the shifter on the GLS? And the door buttons. They feel like they came from a Chevrolet. The X7 is a million times better. I haven't owned a RR but I've been in plenty in the dealer and I do not think the interior feels more expensive. I don't feel it with the materials. Just go back through this video and pause on the interior shots of the X7 centre console. The perfection of that stitching... the way it drives... the power... *creams* wonderful. However... *ahem* the X7 will look 10 years old in 5 years. The Mercedes already looks 10 years old. The RR will still look the absolute Boss to the peasants on the street. Even if you are stuck in the bus lane with the hazard lights on. I'd still take the X7 though. And a Defender. Just so I know how it feels to break down a lot.

The thing that concerns me most is all the major flaws with the Cybertruck make it less safe. Less safe to drive, less safe to load snd unload luggage. It feels like a vehicle where safety has taken a back seat to aesthetics and experience, and that is not a good look at all.

To be honest - why would somebody buy something like this? For workload / heavy duty purposes, expedition vehicles / long range offroad campers or even heavy offroad racing any modern Mercedes-Benz Unimog / Zetros / Arocs or MAN TGS is the way better solution - and when it comes to a daily driver / all purpose allround truck any F-150 Raptor (R) is the better solution? Even if you want a crazy custom build F-trucks, you use anything between F-350 and F-550 for less money. It's a very expensive niche product with bad comfort and bad brakes.

This is def one of my top 3 picks for a new car I plan for. It's comfortable, appears to be reliable thus far, and can do moderate overlanding adventures with confidence. My reluctance with this Land Cruiser is it's lack of stock overlanding gear which means I'm paying more to get to the build I want. I will be checking out your 2025 4Runner review for sure, as that's one of the other top 3 choices!

Audi reminds me of a tesla for some reason. Such a blob of a car. Atleast the m2 looks musclar and mean. Personally love the tail lights of the m2 super original design. Also the audi with that cheesy little glued on screen looks like its from 2012

The box on wheels design is nothing new here in North America. You could look at most 1980s SUVs or, for more modern touches, the Scion XB, Nissan Cube, Ford Flex, and Land Rover Discovery LR3. Oddly, even though they keep comparing the boxiness to the new Land Rover Defender, that actually seems to have a much more rounded front (something I don't like about the Defender). The first time I saw a picture of one of these, before I noticed the Hyundai badge, I honestly thought it was the next-generation Ford Flex, as the styling, especially from the front, looks that close to it. I had to laugh at the old statement of the first-generation Hyundai Santa Fe having bad off-road performance. It would destroy most standard crossovers nowadays, but back when it first came out, it and other crossovers were being compared to the likes of the Jeep Cherokee which was about the same size and price and would easily beat them in an off-road contest with its' straight axles, 6-cylinder engine, raised ground clearance, and low-range transmission.

I'm always quite amazed you can drive this in the US or Canada with a normal license. In Iceland you need a special license to drive anything heavier than 3.5 metric tons.
